Notre Dame Holy Cross High School, Moharpara organized Covid 19 Warriors day on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October 2020. Fr. Simon Fernandez CSC the Chairman of Holy Cross Educational Foundation graced the occasion as a Chief Guest. The Covid – 19 Warriors who were front warriors during this pandemic were felicitated and honored on this day. The Doctors, Nurses, Asha Health workers, Government Elected Representatives, Government Administrative staff, Police Personnel, Fire Safety personnel, Ambulance Drivers, Bank Employees, Drinking and Water Sanitation Staff, Electric Department Staff, Vegetable Vendors , Grocery shop keepers, Medical Store Personnel were present during the event.
The Program began with the meaningful prayer service conducted by the students with theme we shall overcome, and praying God’s Blessings on our living Heroes. A song composed in honor of the Covid 19 warriors was sung during this auspicious moment. Fr. Alfred D Souza CSC the Principal of the School welcomed the gathering and appreciated the selfless efforts of Covid 19 warriors. Fr. Simon CSC the Chairman of Holy Cross Educational Foundation hailed the frontline Covid warriors for their courage and positive role in the society. The students presented short cultural program in honor of Covid 19 warriors.
